Scallop (SCA) is a project launched on the Sui Network, that aims to transform the financial landscape by offering a unified platform that includes high-interest lending, low-fee borrowing, Automated Market Making (AMM), and digital asset self-administration tools.

Scallop is a lending and borrowing platform developed on the Sui Network ecosystem. Its mission is to become the largest Money Market platform on the Sui Network, providing users with competitive interest rates for lending and borrowing.

Founded in early 2021, the project is spearheaded by a CEO with extensive experience in web application security, development, and cryptocurrency. Scallop is the first DeFi protocol to receive an official Grant from the Sui Foundation in November 2022.

SCA is the Scallop ecosystem's utility token, facilitating interactions among participants across different aspects, and is used for Liquidity Mining, Core Contributors, Development and Operations, Advisors, Strategic Investors and Partners, Ecosystem Growth, Liquidity, and Treasury.

Scallop’s development has been marked by numerous accolades, including top placements in various hackathons and competitions, reflecting its innovation and community support. Scallop’s integration with Ondo Finance’s RWA $USDY, a yield-bearing stablecoin, onto the Scallop Protocol, further expands the project’s reach.
